More blathering about gas

So crude went back down, but gas prices didn't. The station owners say they need to recoup losses.

From what? From the precipitous price drops previously.

Where they had to sell at the new lower price, though they bought at the old higher price, all fall long. I've worked in supply chain industries enough to be sympathetic.

So do they have station owner meetings regularly where they all say "Let's hold the price for a while now, recoup some costs, all in favor?" or what?

That's what I want to know. Do they have a major blog where everyone decides how much to charge? I mean overcharge?
