Braces

My older two kids both got a pre-brace device called a quad-helix. Doesn't show, but is a whole lot of wire on the roof of the mouth.



It took them a couple of days to manage to eat anything solid. It is still taking a while for them to talk around it. G has been losing baby teeth like crazy, and will probably been in actual braces some time after the beginning of the year, but K? Well, he hasn't lost any baby teeth since 3rd grade, and will be wearing this thing for many months.

I hope he adjusts eventually, because he's none too thrilled with it now.
