For various reasons, I had served out only a tiny bit of food to G at the beginning of dinner.
Straight faced she said "Wow! thanks mom, for giving me so much food."
Today she was told by her orthodontist that she didn't need to wear elastics for a while. In the car she said sincerely (almost) "Mom, I'm soo sad, I don't get to wear elastics anymore!"
Can you tell she is almost 13?
